An exclusive client event which inspired creativity and brought joy
Centered around TikTok’s research report, Sparking Aussie joy, research uncovered the culturally-resonant meaning around how Joy shows up through community entertainment for Gen Z and Millennial audiences in Australia.
We brought this concept to life creating an event that showcased how content creation and consumption interacted and continued to shape culture beyond the app in experiences that allowed our guests to discover joy in new, unexpected ways. Our immersive spaces showcased how businesses could tap into the eight codes of Aussie Joy identified by that research, and how those businesses we able to drive conversations and reframe their brands under this new lens.
Guests were welcomed into 2023 with experiences that were big, bold, bright and bright which most importantly celebrated joy!
The venue, The Ivy Pool Bar, in Sydney's CBD, the venue offered the perfect playful space to create bold, colourful immersive spaces for guests to explore inspiring, uplifting stories from TikTok’s creators. Tying into that theme, we inspired guests to take a nostalgic and sentimental journey, accentuated by a bespoke menu that included re-imagined Aussie classic food stations and the ‘TikTok Dorito trend’ as a feature for guests.
To further the concept of Aussie joy, we provided evocative entertainment as the electric harpist took guests on a journey of recreated national classics such as Land Down Under; You’re The Voice; Horses and Sorrento Moon. This direction completely captivated and delighted audiences.
A special intimate performance by one of Australia’s biggest artists Tones and I, created a special ‘Wow Factor’ for guests who left with an experience to remember.
